"Spiritual Spotlight"
Sisters Share Their Spiritual Sides
This photo (actually a composite image of many photos) depicting the 'Helix Nebula' was taken by NASA's hubble telescope in May of 2003. It was brought to my attention by Helen Tammany Francello, a childhood friend. "When you believe it, you'll see it" is true enough here.
It's interesting to note that this Nebula, in real life, does not appear colorized like this one. These colors were added by a viewer (non-NASA related) who saw this form as an eye and colorized it as such. The original looks like THIS.
Also, contrary to stories being told about this photo, this configuration is not/was not a 'once in 3000 years occurrence." It is visible all the time.
The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true art and science. ~Albert Einstein |
Regardless of our religious orientation or practices surely we must agree on this: the awesome mystery that lies beyond space and time.
David White, Executive Director of the Napa based organization, WineSpirit, shares our view that wine provides opportunity in daily life to raise our level of awareness and therefore consciousness. David reminds us, "Wine, unlike all the other 'products', invites and invokes that awareness; it is like that connector to the wireless Internet, that once connected, opens worlds of consciousness."
Where's WS USA going with all this?
We're boldly going where no one has gone before... with a theory that wine, when consumed in an atmosphere of trust and friendship, encourages the right brain to open, and a bridge to the transcendent becomes available. WS USA hopes to explore this theory with respected scientists over time.
